About Dr. Viral Patel Dr. Viral Patel has completed MBBS, DNB (Obstetrics and Gynecology), M.Ch. (Gynecological Oncology). He is the first registered Gynecological Oncosurgeon in Gujarat Medical Council. He pursued his super speciality (M.Ch. Gynecological Oncology) Degree from Amrita School of Medicine, Kochi which is 7th best medical college in the India as per National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2020.
Dr. Viral Patel, a distinguished gynecological oncologist and robotic surgeon with nearly a decade of experience and a track record of over 1100 successful gynecological cancer surgeries. Dr. Viral Patel proudly holds the distinction of being the first registered Gynecological Oncologist in Gujarat, India. His passion lies in the precise diagnosis and effective treatment of various gynecologic malignancies, including ovarian cancer, uterine cancer, cervical cancer, vulvar cancer, vaginal cancer, and gestational trophoblastic neoplasm.
He has an additional interest in onco-fertility, precision medicine, and rehabilitation programs for cancer winners. Dedication to treat or diagnose hereditary cancer in women and genetic counseling with or without testing are cornerstones of his gynecologic cancer care. He prioritizes the well-being of patients throughout their treatment and always thrives to provide compassionate cancer care.

I recently had a robotic surgery under Dr. Viral Patel at HCG, Ahmedabad for my uterus removal. Before consulting the doctor we were very much worried and scared about the surgery but Viral sir explained us everything about the robotic surgery including the benefits of the surgery which gave us high level of satisfaction and knowledge. I was able to walk within 18-24 hrs of the surgery and was discharged within 24hrs. In less than 48hrs I am back to my routine day to day life with no discomfort.
